This ornate picture frame was one of the sculptures in the Sculptures By The Sea Exhibition in 2011 – located along the coastline of suburban Sydney, from Bondi Beach and on to and on Tamarama Beach, New South Wales, Australia.
The frame did not contain any picture and was popular with the visitor who would stand behind and within the frame and have photos taken of them.
This two-shot photo shows the views from both sides of the frame.
The photo was taken with a Nikon D70 camera fitted with a Tamron AF Asspherical LD DiII SP [IF] 11-18mm 1:4.5-5.6 zoom lens.
The photos were both tweaked using Gimp software – brightness/contrast tool and sharpening filter and then combined into the filmstrip format also using Gimp.
