Radio station 2JJ put on a free concert at Dawes Point in The Rocks, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on 6 June 1976.

The band, “Red Cloud” was one of the acts – with Jeff St.John as their lead singer.

Radio station 2JJ was the Australian Broadcasting Commission’s then newly established first rock station – broadcasting on the AM band at 1540. It has since become 2JJJ and now broadcasts on the FM band at 105.7 as well as having an internet presence.

The photo was taken with an Asahi Pentax SPII camera using colour transparency film (Kodak).

The photo has been tweaked after it was scanned into my computer using Gimp software – using select/copy/paste tools to remove some imperfections and brightness/contrast tool and sharpening filter.
