This line-up of aircraft was seen at the 2007 Avalon Airshow held at Avalon Airport, between Geelong and Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
From left to right: CAC (Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation) Ca18 Mustang (licence-built Australian version of the North American P51D Mustang), Curtiss P40 Kittyhawk from Albury, New South Wales, 7 Pilatus PC9 of the Royal Australian Air Force aerobatic team, The Roulettes.
In the top left hand corner is a visiting United States Air Force Boeing B52 Stratofortress that flew in for its air display but did not land.
The photo was taken with a Nikon D70 camera fitted with a Tamron AF Aspherical XR Di LD [IF] 28-300mm 1:3.5-6.3 Macro zoom lens.
The photo was tweaked using Gimp software – brightness/contrast tool and sharpening filter.
