Artist's Description

This is my finished work from my previously rendered piece “Dreaming.” I’m new at 3D and I wanted to make myself do something challenging, as opposed to just some scene (not that a scene of any sort is bad or not challenging – trust me, I know). But I thought working on something more realistic might be good for me, you know? So here I am – I hope!

In order to get the background, I had to cut out what was rendered originally (whiteness), then I layered the 3D render on an image I created in Paint.Net. I pretty much use P.N for all my post-work as my photoshop software is packed and ready for to be moved for the summer. It really isn’t a bad program, especially considering you pay for what you get, and I didn’t pay anything. I used the photo-softening tool to even out all the textures, added the fun swirly thing in the corner, and that pretty much sums things up! (Oh, and then I figured out that there were even easier ways to accomplish what I had done! Imagine that)
