ENTREATY TO DEATH

ENTREATY TO DEATH

I’ve come face to face with the spirit of darkness
hidden inside goodness without judging fire, light, darkness or shadows,
and hidden inside every goodness;
now standing in front of you,
in my arms I bring a wounded fairy to your temple,
take me, and face me with her spirit,
donate to her red-hot sands my lips
dried by the fire which heals my wounds

I’ve fought with your tempests,
in the name of blue spirits in bottomless seas, dead since ancient times,
i’ve whispered your laments
and now with my faded dreams i come to your door,
clothed in her spirit, discarding the skin in which i’d concealed myself,
surrounded by incense with the scent of distant mysteries,
and nights with my tears black from your weeping

Has the moonlight risen to be undeceived by its own entreaty,
from her slumber enfolding her own birth pains, tear off my face,
and give it to earth, when every strand of her hair falls, touched by daylight,
my spirit will bleed
with leaves blown about from my heart
seasons will wear their golden crowns,
in my arms i bring a wounded peri to your temple,
take me, and face me with her spirit…
