This was taken in Monument Valley Utah. A virtually cloudless sky, except for the shadow this one casts. I saw this picture coming and had to hurry to get it. I like it as it is odd, but it does not send the serene message many of my photos send.

Monument Valley is my most favourite place in the whole world. It’s very spiritual. This capture is just awesome with the darkness. You certainly have something rare here.

It actually looks really surreal to me, maybe it’s because my eyes are tired… but it looks like the shaded rock is actually a cave..
