Artist's Description

US Highway 89, the Montana Centennial Highway, enters Montana from the south in Yellowstone National Park and runs in a northwesterly direction to cross into Canada alongside Glacier National Park. Because Montana became a state in 1889, the route is known as the Centennial Highway.

This stretch is looking south as the road twists and turns across Teton County between Dupuyer and Choteau, Montana.

Taken 4/24/2011 north of Choteau, Montana.

Nikon D80 DSLR, Nikkor 16-85 mm wide angle/tele/zoom lens set at 85 mm.

ISO 200, f /16.0, 1/350 second, finished in Photoshop CS4.
