Artist's Description

The Frazer was the flagship model of the Kaiser-Frazer Corporation, built from 1946 to 1951 with a single body style. I’ve been told that this is a ’48 model.. The car has license plates showing that it was registered most recently in 1992 in Roosevelt County, Montana. I was so taken with finding such a beautiful example of this very rare car, that I failed to notice just how hard it was snowing, not even after I stepped into a snowdrift and sank to my knees.

Taken 4/22/2011 near Lewistown, Montana.

Nikon D80 DSLR, Nikkor 16-85 mm wide angle/tele/zoom lens set at 35 mm.

ISO 200, f /16.0, 1/90 second, finished in Photoshop CS4.
