Artist's Description

The Hudson Motor Car Company miscalculated with the 1953 Super Jet. Introduced just as the “Big Three” were building larger cars, the Super Jet has come to be known as “The Car that killed Hudson.” Produced for two years only, the Super Jet died when Hudson merged with Nash-Kelvinator to become American Motors in 1954.

Taken April 17th, 2010 in Missoula, Montana, USA.

Nikon D80 dslr, Nikkor 16-85 mm lens set at 19 mm. ISO 1000, f /5.6, 1/45th second. Shot in RAW format, finished in Lightroom Classic and Photoshop 2021.
