Artist's Description

General Motors, Ford and even Chrysler had been building Sedan Delivery vehicles for decades when this 1951 Pontiac hit the showroom floor. The earliest Pontiac I have been able to find in this style was a 1949. They were built in the United States through 1953, but continued on as a Canadian model until 1958.

This particular vehicle caught my eye as I was driving home from picking up license plates at the County Court House in Thompson Falls. Parked outside the local Ace Hardware Store, it demanded that I stop and photograph it. Wouldn’t you do the same if you found this along your route?

Taken May 29th, 2019 in Thompson Falls, Montana, USA.

Nikon D810 dslr, Nikkor 24-120 mm lens.
