My step father, the only father I have ever known and love, gave me my first camera, a Yashica when I was in my teens. I played around with film and learned how to develop my own at a friends family dark room.
I put it away for years and years dabbling in water colour painting, poetry and singing.
Searching for my niche’.
It came back to me about 4 years ago when I purchased my Canon Point &shoot.
I now have started a small collection of cameras.
This was given to me a few weeks back by my Step-Father, for my birthday.
It’s a Polaroid J33 Land Camera made in the early 60’s
adding to my 1970 Polaroid ( which still works)
It’s his birthday today so I thought it fitting I upload this gift for him.
To my Step-Father, Happy Birthday Chuck, Thank you for starting this addictive and rewarding hobby!
