Expansion From the Core of Our Being (sister piece)

I feel your pink tendrils
Swirling between darkness and light
Your brain represents kind sharing
As I look to Being free from fright.

I am drawn to The Other.
Otherworldliness,
Other Good,
More than otherwise.

Accepting that good can be offered
As an alternative to hatred, loathing,
Narrow mindedness, prejudice,
War, persecution and lies.

From the core of our Being,
Please let us expand.
Will you be gentle and kind
As I offer you my hand?

Artist's Description

Below is the original poem Blanchot, aka Rusty, attached to the artwork From the Core of Our Being, We Expand

At our best, we share our Being
We expand to the Other
Including and accepting whatever good may be offered
The alternative is hatred, narrow mindedness, and even war
Thus, let us expand from the core of our Being

Please visit his impressive portfolio – I am a huge fan
