Artist's Description

There is NO beach at Chapel Porth at high tide and swimming is prohibited. At low tide however, the sea retreats to exhibit fine golden sand. There is a good car-park, toilets and small cafe here (in season). A short walk seaward offers views eastward to Tubby’s Head at St. Agnes and westward to Porthtowan. Above the beach are the much photographed ruined minestacks of Wheal Coates and Towanroath.
