Artist's Description

I shot this late yesterday afternoon, we had an awful job to stand still against the wind, my camera got soaked, & this morning the radio informed us that several villages were under two feet of water.
The ship rocks violently
as waves hit so hard against
the sides,
spraying water everywhere
making visibility almost impossible;
The rain falls heavily upon the deck,
The tempestuous wind
rips the sails to shreds;
Then a loud, cracking sound……….
the mast breaks and snaps
into bits
as it falls and hits the deep, dark
treacherous ocean;
