Artist's Description

A Red Arrows pilot who died after he was blasted into the air in an ejection seat accident may have been affected by Night Nurse medicine, an inquest heard.
Flt Lt Sean Cunningham, 35, was about to take off from the Red Arrows home base at RAF Scampton when he was hurled into the air.
Colleagues of the experienced pilot described watching helplessly as he was thrown 300ft into the air from his Hawk T1, before falling to his death while still strapped into his seat.
The first day of an inquest into the death heard Flt Lt Cunningham had used Night Nurse, which includes the ingredient promethazine, the evening before the incident.
The inquest heard a post mortem report which said: “It is conceivable that side effects of this medication can include drowsiness, blurred vision, disorientation or poor concentration, and could have been responsible for a degree of cognitive impairment, but there is no way of proving this with certainty”.

Had my Camera in the Garden , which was good managed to get one shot of these guys.
