Broken Woman

Like a broken clock that falls to the floor
my aching heart it beats no more.
Time stands still, my mind goes black
as I lay myself upon this track.
Waiting for the sky to fall
I hear the engine scream its call…
There’s one thing that I’ve learned from this,
That ignorance is never bliss
Tis such a lie that love is free
It costs your life and sanity…

Artist's Description

A poem about how the loss of the person you love can make you do crazy and destructive things…
I’ve never personally felt this deep about such things but I have seen how it has made others feel.
I am in no way condoning nor condemning suicide or its tendencies. This is strictly for artistic purposes.
