Old Flame

The day we met, I knew you were different
You were shy and sweet, you I can’t forget.
Now we meet again, older I must say
Myspace.com brings me you today.

We talked and talked, feels just the same
What if’s and distance are the name of the game.
I miss you now, You I can’t seem to let go
Why, I wonder, tell me so I’ll know.

I know this seems odd, Obsession it is not
But right now, today, you are in every thought.
I must say I am surprised, we talk as though
Not a day has passed since fifteen years ago.

The flirting, and laughing, talking and such,
I know why I liked you oh so much
You made me feel loved in that living hell
Eustis Florida, I remember well

A burning kiss in the hall across from my class
I think about you still you big pain in the ass.
Don’t take that wrong for I swear it’s true
That had I not left, I may have fallen deeply in love with you.

It may be kind of childish, very corny I know,
But this poem I dedicate to you, seer of my soul
