Adventurer, right? Fearless in battle, mighty in spirit, fame, glory, all that crap? Only use I’ve found for fame is that it’s the only reason anyone listens to the healer.
One day, I decided to learn the arts of a bard. I bought a wooden flute and taught myself to play. I discovered that there is another beauty in me. Music flows from me. I sing with a voice soft and strong, and play that flute with inspiration.
Now, when my spirit aches but I must be tough, I find a moment to sit by myself and let the music be me.
I don’t perform for fame. I don’t play for the multitudes. I hear the sound of my flute, and I play for the wind.
