My own world

Tears pouring out like rushing water,
Dampening my hair as I lay awake in the dark.
Moving hurts my enitre body.
Each shakey cry breaking another bone.
Begging myself to stop,
Begging for the pain to leave,
Horrible thoughts to go away.
Finally I think I see my hero,
Coming to save me from me,
But instead he walks away.
Leaving me in the dusty air,
All alone,
Shut off from the rest of humanity.
Seeing them reminds me of you.
Making it impossible to close this gapping whole within my chest.
My mind can’t even make itself focus.
Every thought leading me straight to you.
It’s only when I read that I can dissappear and forget you ever existed.
It’s my own little world,
In which I can hide.
You never touched this place,
And in that I am fortunate.
My own little sacred world,
In which I can still dream.
