_____________________________________

This poem is inspired by the struggle of my people during a time of darkness whilst the country was under a repressive dictatorship. It was a difficult time, where there seemed to be no hope and there was despair all around. And yet,the sun reminded us that there was hope, that the spirit within us to survive as a people will not die and will live on.
*This is lovingly dedicated to friends I knew and did not know who suffered and died in the struggle during the difficult years. ..*
*I also dedicate this work to ordinary men & women everywhere who struggle in depression, or are in tough and painful situations. My love and thoughts are with you….*

Please don’t lose hope….
