Strangers On A Train

Alone again on a platform with sunglasses,
Once again late evening.
I met a man in film noir
In a trench coat and hat,
And a ski mask and smoking camel cigerettes.
He offered me one from the pack,
The flame from his lighter lit up my face.
I took off my sunglasses.
He told me I looked beautiful
Here we go!
I was in no mood to talk about anything.
He told me my soul needed some tender loving care.
Yeah right!
I told him to mind his own business
I felt he was trying to hit on me.
The train pulled up alongside the platform and we boarded alone.
A girl alone on a train to a destination unknown with a man dressed all in black.
He sat directly opposite me and stared vacantly into my eyes.
I can see the whites of his eyes and his lips caressing his cigarette
Where are you heading to?
Hmmm! He wants to get into my pants!
Home, eventually!
What’s he going to ask now?
Where’s home?
I knew it!
Don’t know.  Do you know?
Let’s see him get outta this one.
You mean, you’re homeless.
Hmmm! Witty retort!
Why should I tell you and who are you anyway?
Good one! Nice come back.
I’m legion! I’m anything you want me to be. Right now I’m  a man dressed in black.
Well, I like his reply.
Hmmm! You are a pervert.  Yeah?
A Gimp?

He’s going to laugh Yeah?
Ha! Ha! Maybe.
He did! He’s looking out the window!
The kaleidoscope of  neon lights ran across our faces.
Do you fuck?
O Dear! Here we go!
Yes, I do! And I can fuck you right
Up if you try and mess with me!

Oh Like that huh?
I like a girl who can bite and kick ass!
I don’t like where this conversation is heading.
Maybe you should get off at the next stop mister.
You don’t understand,  I have to come home with you!
He was beginning to scare me.
I pulled my mobile out of my handbag!
I’m calling the police if you don’t get off the next stop.
You don’t have to do that, I’m not going to hurt you.
I’m Serious! get off at the next stop!
The man in black got up and walked.
I’m lonely too you know! Just wanted some company. That’s all.
Oh God! I’m a bitch!
I just wanted to warn you about something, he added.
Warn me about what?
Before he could answer me
He disappeared into thin air.
O damn, I’m alone again and scared.
Wondering if this was a nightmare
Or an uncomfortable reality.
I closed my eyes exhausted but weary about what he said.
It was all true,
I have no Final destination
I have no home.
I am sexy and gorgeous as he said
And I am dead.
Here’s where I get off.
Another night journey is over.
Its so lonely being dead.
I wish I hadn’t jumped in front of that train all those years ago.
I’m dead, yes I’m dead.
Wishing I could fall asleep
And wake up alive.
Alive and live like there’s no tomorrow.
