Artist's Description

What happens when you cross a Pit Bull with a Pug?

You get a dog that’s purely adorable!

We noticed this guy when we were gassing up our car in Great Falls, Montana. He was leaning out the car window, visiting with anyone who came near.

I asked his owners if I could take his photo. They enjoyed my asking and told us about their dog, and how much they loved him. There were two girls in the car, around the ages of seven or eight, who loved this little dog to pieces… It was so enjoyable to meet him and his family.

In 2003, I began collecting images of dogs in vehicles so I could begin a series, called Canines in Cars. This is the first of those images I’m publishing. As I run across the rest of them, I’ll add them to the series in my bubblesite.

The looks you see on dog’s faces, as they wait for their masters return to the car, can be priceless! I couldn’t resist creating this series.
