Artist's Description

I’m a nature photographer at heart and love to shoot birds, insects, mammals etc. This moth is a migrant from the near continent and quite rare anywhere in Britain other than the Southern Counties. It is called Humming-bird Hawk Moth because of it’s feeding habits and is often mistaken for a humming-bird. This beauty was in my garden perched (which is not often seen) during a thunderstorm.
