Had so much fun photographing the endangered Green and Gold Bell frog (Litoria aurea) today. Unlike most frogs, they are active during the day and like to tan themselves in the sun!
This particular little guy jumped right up to me before jumping onto a leaf and back into the water. He is no bigger that the tip of my little finger but they grow to about 11 cm, making them one of Australia’s largest frogs.

Focal lenth 157mm for 35mm
Nothing done to this image except a little bit of sharpening
As a child I was obsessed with finding a green frog so thanks Geoff H for taking me to this spot – a truely happy place for me!
