Artist's Description

Tantalising Tasmania Series by Lexa Harpell.

‘Edge of the World’ (yes that is the name) sits in the Arthur-Pieman Conservation on the west coast of Tasmania, Australia.

Near Arthur River, ‘The Edge of the World’ on the west coast of Tasmania has a wild coastline. It’s the Wild West of this Island State of Australia.

Debris from Arthur River and the Indian Ocean washes up on the rocks along this coastline.
The dangerously famous Roaring Forties winds whip around the globe across the mighty Indian Ocean.

The next land mass is 3/4 of the way around the world – Argentina! The beach is strewn with logs washed down from Arthur River and debris from the Indian Ocean.
