The new look RedBubble has resulted in a few unhappy campers. I’m going to wait a few days until I get used to it before I pass judgement, although my gut feeling is that the RB team have put lots of thought into the changes and it will prove to be an improvement. I found this helpful FAQ for anyone totally lost.
I enjoyed Paul’s video
Am looking forward to settling into the new-look RedBubble. It feels like I’ve upgraded to a better car and some of the controls are in different places, so it’s going to be a bit frustrating for a short time, but I have confidence in the RB engineers and designers.

I am very excited to have my art selected, from over 49000 works of art, to exhibit in SoJie 8. SoJie 8 takes its name from the Solo Exhibition group’s Juried Invitational Exhibition. This month is only the 8th one, ever, and 100 other artists, besides myself, are represented.…
Winners of the invitational will be announced on October 27th, when a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded in three categories: digital art, photography, and traditional art.
Non members, as well as members, ARE welcome to view all of the work nominated. So I hope that you will click the show banner, above, and follow the link to view my fellow exhibitors. The works are shown “gallery size” and are beautiful, seen together.
If you do not bel
I entered Devil Puppy into a mini-challenge to dress the Chairman for Halloween and he fell for its cute, satanic eyes. All hail the chairman (aka Pilgrim).
I took this photo in June 2009 at Coolangatta’s Wintersun Festival …
I’d photoshopped some people out of the shot, but the couple in the background suited the image so I left them in. I had no idea who they were. This year I included the pic in a book of my car images. My sister-in-law bought two copies of the book, one for her husband, and one for the husband’s workmate. The workmate recognised the couple in the photo, who were his friends and who live in Brisbane. They tracked me down via Google to my Fotoblur account, and have since bought their own copy of the book.
a big thankyou to the buyer of this t-shirt …

OK, the interview’s finished now, but worth a look if you missed it.
… every page seems to have at least 3 or 4 good, original ideas, and the text gives credit to magazines like The Face, the artists who took advantage of photocopiers, the earlier adopters who worked with the very first (feeble) Macs to create art, people who mix traditional illustration with digital. The book is obviously put together by someone who loves illustration and originality.
Diana-Lee Saville and I co-host Newman’s Pet Tees, Stickers and Art, which started off as a vector-only group but has widened its scope to include all artworks of pets (strictly no photos!). After a slow start, we’re now approaching 300 artworks. Our latest challenge (for a $US20 RedBubble voucher) is for drawings and paintings of sleeping pets.

Only a few hours left to buy one of this RedBubbler’s tees at only US$9 !!
Someone emailed me a direct link to the video and I’ll admit to being dubious at first. (There are some clever computerised faked videos doing the viral rounds, and the close-up of the trunk at times looked like a human arm in a baggy sleeve.) Looked it up on Scopes and now I’m a believer.
Following hot on the heels of the sale of a Cute Eddie tee, I’ve just sold a tee of Lucy Again. Thanks, second mystery buyer!
