A Seed.

A SEED

A seed he planted deep inside,
He watered me with love and pride,
I took a risk, I knew i’d fall,
And yet I grew so big and tall,
A flower had sprung from the ground,
So confident, so proud, so sound,
The fear of thirst had long been gone,
Id soon find out I had been wrong,
Sometimes he would water my seed,
But most times he’d ignore my need,
And there I wilted in the sun,
I lost the fight, the battles won,
A seed he planted deep inside,
A flower grew, but now it’s dried.
