To lose myself

To lose myself in Glory’s King
in Heaven’s Joy
in Adoration of You
in service to You,
in being Your maiden,
in dancing before You
as Miriam
and David
in exalting You,
Do not let me stutter
do not let me stumble,
in giving worship
to my God on High
my cheek plastered against
Your Holy Foot
with tears
of Joy and Gratitude
whose hands tremble,
the gift to unloose a sandal
i am not worthy to
but with rose pedals,
let my hands be
to Thy service
my grief
of a life
lived selfishly
to lose myself!
to lose myself!
in Your Glory
in Your Splendor
like the servants of old
and the martyrs of new
to give blood and sweat
and service and love
for Thy Glory~
My humble King
My Gracious God
humiliated for me
Did You see me
as a beggar
at The Cross
Shed Blood fell
upon me to cleanse me
the scales loosed
from anointed eyes
i lose myself
blinded by Radiance
with Paul
i kicked against the goads
cried out,
“Who art Thou?
with Peter
to testify to The Revelation
“Thou Art The Christ,
The Son of The Living God!
The Son of The Living God!”
to lose myself
and fly away from the earth
the bondage loosed
the dirt washed
the skin of sin destroyed
to hear You say,
“Well done, Good and Faithful
The Robe of Your Righteousness
covers me
the train of Your Robe
fills The Temple with Glory
with the angels
who hold the four corners of the earth
You tarry to grant repentance
You tarry to give life
You whisper into my soul
to lose myself
my identity
my name
my desires
be born all over again
and baptized into a new life
a subject of a worthy King
a child of a Heavenly Father
the soldier of Calvary’s Victor~
to lose myself in The Passover Lamb
To be filled with Living Rivers
of Heaven’s Mercy,
You will Return~
with thousands upon thousands upon
my Messiah will pierce
the flesh of the sky
The Dove of The Spirit
Speak One
The Lord in Gesthemane
with agony prayed,
“That they may be One was we
are One~
That Glory may be theirs
My God offers life
as His Son was crucified
His prayer, “that they may be One
as we are One”
to lose myself in You
to lose my heart in Yours

To lose myself
