Praise So Loud That Walls Will Crumble

Our hearts must ache
must break,
weeping over the abominations of sin
wailing, with tears
and brokenness
reverance before His Throne,
where angels tread
where sin has no access,
we’ve come through The Torn Veil,
we’ve come to The Mercy Seat,
between the cherubim
The Glory of God resides
The Mercy of God lives there
Where The Holy Spirit utters unspeakable
words without translation
Beyond the Valley of the Shadow of Death
where Jesus passed taking the path
to The Cross,
no one knows the indignity suffered
or the Glory poured forth through His Wounds
our hearts must come through paths of suffering
the prayers beating loudly the heartbeat of His Lordship
what prayers can contain God
there is a gushing of Living Water
that pours through the soul
Grace so amazing, and immeasurable
The Secret Place of the Almighty
no heart can contain His Presence
trembling child so weak before His Throne
burning from the inside
The Holy Spirit leaps within
to an Unspeakable Joy
that exhausts such fragile limbs
crying out with seraphim,
i cannot compare with the language
and loud thunderings of the angels
a heart God slices as butter
or a mere sheet of paper
what man can contain the pouring forth
of Praise so loud that walls will crumble
Praise so strong that our fragile hearts
would explode in exuding forth all that our
souls could scream out
and scratch at the sky with the exuberance
of Praise
Praise that God would accept
a Praise that springs forth from the blood
Prayers that breathe with holiness
prayers that hold back nothing,
no secrets
but a tearing of flesh
exposing the nakedness
of every thought
intent and dream
prayers that crucify sin
to a dying in fellowship
a constant dying
until we reveal the Life of Christ
inside these earthen vessels

Artist's Description

“i will bless the Lord at all times;
His Praise shall continually be in my
my soul shall make its boast in the Lord;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
Oh, magnify the Lord with me.
And let us exalt His Name together.”
(Psalm 34:1-3)
