Unique and Holy unto the Lord

When a woman conceives
A tapestry of Intimacy is woven
between the unborn and the Almighty
as the Lord molds the child into His Likeness
every creation a fresh lump of clay
unique and Holy unto the Lord
as His first creation Adam
no child insignificant
growing inside the womb of his mother
The Face of the Lord shines upon her
as she shelters the child
inside the walls of her flesh
the enemy may cause enmity
between her heart and the child’s
seeds of discontent
and discord are sewn
as the enemy attempted
to destroy Our Lord
he will attempt again
to destroy as he did then
those still suckling in every generation
the enemy seeks to devour
all created in the Image of God
whom he hates
On rages the spiritual battle
all must take sides
no person is exempt
no child spared
the unborn are in the midst of an Ancient Battle
as Israel so long ago,
“the devil walks around
like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.”
as legions of the fallen
encircle the skies searching for unborn
to sacrifice

Knowing they will be Priests and Soldiers
unto the Most High
a Holy Army unto Christ
every child not yet born
already a Precious Jewel
in the Heart of Our Lord.

Artist's Description

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.”
(Ephesians 6:12)

“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb,
The leopard shall lie down with the young
The calf and the young lion and the fatling
And a little child shall lead them;
The cow and the bear shall graze;
Their young ones shall lie down together;
And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
The nursing child shall play in the cobra’s
And the weaned child shall put his hand
in the viper’s den.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My Holy Mountain,
For the earth shall be full of the knowledge
of the Lord
As the waters cover the sea.
(Isaiah 11:6-9)
