Changing Faces

Changing faces changing moods
This primal changing suits me well
I get stale so easily
I’m so restless for the road

Change is sweet and so sublime
All this new emboldens me
It drives my eyes I’m supersized
I crave the summit I crave the view

There’s a brand new sight to see
Fresh and clear and undefiled
A sweet young thing in low-rise jeans
An old man coughing alone in the corner

Change will always bring me here
Always lead me to the edge
I breathe the air the newborn mist
Another morning I’m still alive
