Artist's Description

Detail of the Metropol Parasol in Seville, Spain. A striking example of modern avant-garde architecture built in the Plaza de la Encarnaciόn.
The structure is also known as Las Setas (the mushrooms). It is said to be the biggest wooden structure ever built. It was designed by German architect Jürgen Mayer, and was completed in April 2011.
