The View of The Seven Sisters and Coastguard cottages is one of the most photographed landscapes in the UK.
Many people worldwide mistakenly think the Seven Sisters cliffs are the White cliffs of Dover which are about 70miles further east.
The early Microsoft online Encyclopaedia “Encarta” also made the same mistake.
To the left is Cuckmere Haven, The next access point to the beach is Birling Gap which can be seen in the distance as the low point in the cliffs.
Belle Toute Lighthouse can be seen on the distant headland beyond Birling Gap.
