Arrived home from a wonderful week in the Lake District today, This had to be the 1st upload
Thursday evening I camped at the side of Stickle Tarn with my 3 sons after an ascent of 1500’ via Stickle Gill.
Friday morning we were shrouded in mist but we were not deterred, our 1st target was to ascend Jack’s Rake an amazing scramble that ascends diagonally up the cliff face of Pavey Ark.
This had been an ambition of mine for many years.
On emerging out of Great Gully we found ourselves above the clouds , a truly magnificent experience
