View Southwest from Cooden Beach along Normans Bay
towards Eastbourne & the South downs
Normans Bay is so named because it is believed the Normans landed around here in 1066
The last successful invasion of Britain
I do not think their boats were registered in Newhaven like this one though

Wonderfully composition of this stunning view, the secluded beach seems to go on for miles and miles!
It is a very quiet stretch of beach, the downs in the distance are about 8 miles away, The centre of Eastbourne about 6m
Gorgeous shot Mike.
thanks Rob
A beautiful coastal composition Mike, the boat is well placed as a focal point and what a great sky as a backdrop, well captured and documented,
Regards, Rod.
