A new lens on the way.

I’ve just bought a third camera lens for my Canon 400D. I’ve been into photography a little for around 4 years, getting a little Sony point and shoot when I started doing my more extravagant fishing trips so I could record the moments for prosperity. Around 12 months ago I decided to splurge and bought my first DSLR. I justified the expense by telling myself that although its a lot of money up front, thats just about all I’ll have to spend, seeing as how most of my pics will go into the PC and the actual taking of pics is free. Well, it didnt quite work like that did it! I bought a little 50mm 1.8 prime because I’d seen lots of work from other people and for the price the nifty fifty seemed a great buy (and it is)but I knew I’d need a landscape lens too, so before I even recieved the camera I’d bought a nice “L” quality wide angle lens. OK, so now I’ve got a 50mm 1.8 (fast) lens and a landscape lens. Thats all I’ll need to spend right? Well, I wouldnt mind having a telephoto lens for shooting things from afar, like wildlife and maybe trains and things. Well, today I’ve splurged again and just ordered a 70-200 F2.8 IS “L” quality lens. Yeeehaa. Now surely thats all I’ll need? (Hmmm, wouldnt mind an off camera flash, a marco lens, some strobe light’s etc etc etc. Seems this photography thing isn’t as cheap as I thought it was going to be. Still, I love it.)Mick.
