I have been a writer and photographer for as long as I can remember, starting with my own fanzine in 1976, then beginning the torturous life of a freelancer, going on to write for the best British music paper of the 1980's (Melody Maker) as well as editing the best UK independent magazine (Zigzag), and writing five books about Goth, my favourite form of music. It is the images that I have taken or generated that you will see here.
