An Oldina Forest Adventure

An Oldina Forest Adventure
My husband took me and the kids to Oldina Forest, near Wynyard in Northern Tasmania today (mothers day). We went for a walk along the Jago track which leads up the side of a small river, through giant manferns and lots of fungi. Looked like a fairly easy walk at first so we set off with Tahira in her pram and Bailee on foot. Got a fair way through and the going started getting a bit tough, staircases up steep hills, broken bridges and skinny pathways. Came accross tons of beautiful fungi as I had hoped, pity about the leeches that thought I had some good blood, Poor Bailee had one crawling up his crutch. Was almost back to the car, could see it in the distance and realised the last staircase had been blocked off due to damage. Had to clamber down a muddy bank and of course I went straight down on my butt. Still we had a great family adventure and managed quite a few great photos:)
