O’Neills Beach, North Island, New Zealand.
Waitakere Ranges Regional Park.
Yesterdays mission, 3 hour drive to Auckland International Airport, then 1&half hours through Auckland at rush hour(5:30pm), to get out to the prehistoric coastline before the sun went down.
A very nice beach, and a great walk. Starts off behind some dunes, then you follow a river out to the sea. Cross the river where its not to deep, around one bay, up over a sand dune, and your at this view of O’neills Beach. Popular with surfers, and in the day dinosaurs I’m sure.
