It’s hard to believe there are still waterfalls in the Blue Mountains that I haven’t seen, but I’m glad.
We set out on a walk to Vera Falls which was advertised as being for experienced walkers. After seeing some amazing waterfalls including my favourite Sylvia Falls we got to this beautiful little waterfall part of the way along before it started to rain.
We met a great group of hikers, Brett, Janis & Jim who had been to Vera Falls & told us it was pretty slippery up there & they had slipped a few times, so we decided to turn back.
Fortunately the rain stopped & we got to enjoy the rest of the great walk with great weather albeit with tired legs after a cold, lazy winter.
Looking back, I probably could have used the flash to illuminate the fern on the right & not blow out the white of the waterfall.
