my darkness unveiled

cursed is this lump of carbon spinning aimlessly through the endless black of the cosmos.

creation is a cruel fate, with a sure end. it is seen as clearly as watching a water droplet form and swell, till gravity pulls its mass to the earth, decimating any evidence of the form that it was.

life begins, is muddled out weakly, and then ends.

on a geologic timeline, my life is a nanosecond, having no impact at all.

pointless and small, i now know how the appendix would feel if it were an entity, self aware.

bitter, spurned, jilted. may the vacuous damnation that fills my soul condemn this place.

all the ruthless catholic imagery of an imaginary hell is a sweet lullaby in contrast to the wasteland alive in my stone cold heart.

i desire vengance, a reckonning for having ever existed. my rage for the stinging offense that was a birth into this wretched land. damn your eyes for looking upon my hatred, damn your mind for comprehending my state.

curse the cowardice that stills my shaking hands in the rage of self loathing.

i scream these words through imaginary bars of a self built prison, if only, with the blink of an eye, i could unravel this existence.

burn it, burn it all. leave me to die, poisioned by my own venom.

my darkness unveiled
