_see journal for the animated version.
okay… i love doodling… ;) here is another one. and i decided to do such in what i call “picasso-isque” style. i love how it turned out. maybe later i will do one which looks more traditional or classical. but for the meantime, i wanna dedicate this to all the kids… in all of “us”.

*from our Filipino folk-tale, “Why the Sun shines brighter than the Moon”

*Mayari is a moon-goddess sister to Apolaki the sun-god. they are the two known offsprings of Bathala… the highest god. Both Mayari and Apolaki shines throughout the “earthworld”. When Bathala retired, the siblings couldn’t agree who will govern the earthworld. So they decided to race who could shine brighter. But Apolaki being the macho-god naturally overpowered Mayari, who upon their competition blew her off and hurt her one eye. So the story goes and Mayari comes to shine once in a while on earth. but she has her mighty twinkling stars shining every night.
