In the Moment

Flash, touch, heart leap, soul beat;
Paper thin silver wall between knowledge and none
The quick of your past self,
Re-warmed in the wisp of a long faded smell,
Moments conjured in a moment.

The tug and twine of Muse and music
The skip between life and death, action and reaction
Rate of change in momentum
Hanging and falling, waiting and having
Encrusted in muteness and poetry

The entrancing sway,
Of the boughs of the bones of the eyes,
Boughs and baskets and cradles

Sudden and gone, un-pictured
To loose to be held with the grasp of the told
Burning bright and small,
Already the largest dose of the strongest essential
The shock and the gift of the moment

In the Moment

Artist's Description

Read it if you want lol. A singing candle prolly couldn’t wax more lyrical haha but it’s what I wanted. That phrase ‘in the moment’ really gave me a kick.
