Crime Time - First Weekly Challenge!!!!!!!

Our First Challenge!

Hi Everyone,

Myself and Anne are happy to bring you the first group challenge for Crime Time!

So here are the guidelines:

This is a weekly challenge, so each week a new theme will be selected by the hosts and posted to you all. The theme is open to interpretation – as long as there is an obvious link between the story and the theme, or ideally uses the words in some way that form the theme then we will accept the submission. Excessive violence, sexual aggression etc will not be tolerated – only use as necessary. This group caters for Crime, Mystery and Thriller genres – submissions of this genre will be accepted, any others will not.

At the end of the week, a bubble mail will be sent to you again to ask you to vote on the stories that have been entered into the challenge. We will ask you to nominate a 1st, 2nd and 3rd winner. The winner will be announced on the same day the new challenge is announced.

The 1st place winner will get their work posted on our featured page for a month.

Theme (Week 1): “In the dark it fell”
Word Count: Min 500 – Max 1000 Short stories/ fiction (no scripts, poetry or prose)
Date: Open from 13th September to 17th September
Voting: 18th September
Winners: Announced 20th September
New Theme: Announced 20th September

To submit your work; please add a link to your submission below on this thread.

Please remember – above all this is still a group that encourages constructive feed back – so please take the time to review the submissions and comment on them!

Sorry for the extra long BM – but figured we should give a full outline first time, and then the following ones will be a bit shorter!

Happy writing Crime Timers!

Flic and Anne
