Born in Warwick Australia. I moved up to Queensland when I was young and I’ve been here in Mackay ever since. I graduated from school in 2014 with an Australian certificate of Education, and a Certificate in Workplace practices. Shortly after I finished my schooling I enrolled in Tractor Design School through the online course to achieve an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design. In my designs I focus heavily on the idea of “Tradition meets Modern,” creating designs that make use of traditional techniques, aesthetics and composition, while blending them together with use of modern technology, ingenuity and know-how.
In my personal life I have a deep love for all things with the martial arts and take part in Kendo (剣道). When I’m not training at the Dojo or at home or somewhere else at a tournament, I’m usually kicking back at home playing video games with mates online, watching a movie, reading a book or designing things for myself to enjoy.
I’m also a student of Shodō (書道) and Sumi-e (水墨画) Art. Sumi-e is a form of Ink Wash art drawn in a minimalistic aesthetic form. Shodō or The Way of Calligraphy is a Zen practice of calligraphy, creating expressive penmanship of Japanese Kana or Kanji Symbols.
