Artist's Description

This is a charcoal drawing of, well, I guess my mind wandering one day. There is a slave and a soldier each on one side of a dying tree. In the far upper right hand side you see what is the moon ( a dead planet ), and as you work your way down from the moon you see what is a dead terrain with zero life and full of cracks that are bleeding oil, and if you really pay attention you can see a face which symbolizes god……………………..Alright so the message behind this drawing is simply this, NO MATTER WHAT TIME PERIOD, PLACE, RACE, COUNTRY, RELIGION, GENRE OR EVEN PLANET, MAN IS HIS OWN WORST ENEMY. The slave and soldier ( which symbolize two of mans worst faults, slavery, and war.) are apart of this dying tree of life, which is dying because we are slowly killing ourselves and our planet over oil, religion, greed and so many other reasons. So when you see the moon in the background i guess that is gods constant reminder of what MANS fate could be. I hope you all really enjoy.
