Artist's Description

The saguaro cactus is just an amazing sight. To think that a cactus could not only grow this big but that they don’t start to grow arms until they are around 65-70 years of age. A mature saguaro is at least 125 years old. I took this photo down in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument south of Phoenix Arizona. The desert-scape there is just amazing. Looking out over the land you see not only these giant saguaro but organ pipe cactus as well. I really like this image because of the unique perspective.
