The Ocean

The vastness takes my breath; it is here my soul is examined, beauty in genuineness, secrets well veiled.

Light sapphire surfs sing melodies of splendor,
Depths hide my rest
far from my reach

Magnificent and wonderful infinite unmeasured brilliance

Lost in thought, I but a grain of sand,
calm now in my observance
this never-ending conflict within myself.

And the blue pinnacle gleaming nine hundred-thousand jewels;
scattered treasures throughout your surface; casting upon your shore, my fate.

And with a loud thunder
these pent-up secrets beacon the light of my mortality
the bright dancing flame of Heaven has penetrated.

As my spirit strengthens
my soul at peace I begin my conversation with God
