monument new soldier york
Hi Mary. Where is this memorial? It’s very modern … and though I’m not a Kiwi, I do see the New Zealand flag, so I am curious to see where else in the world they are being remembered.
I do like the colour contrasts in this framing. Very nice.
Hi, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. This shot was taken in New York City, fairly close to the habor near the statue of liberty. It was in a park. Thank you for the compliments.
beautiful shot Mary – reminds me of my Dad. He joined the army in 1938 and was getting ready to be discharged when Pear Harbor was invaded. They sent him to the front and he marched up from Italy into Germany. He did survive that war and passed away in 1991.
