Beginnings...

Once there was only, a vast dark, timeless void beyond measure,
With no beginning and with no end…
A lifeless vacuum, neither a foe nor a friend.
In the beginning no manner of life as we know it,
Could possible exist…
Until such came the time of, a creational bliss.
A mystical blue sphere appearing,
An orb, magnificently marbled with clouds of white…
Bathed and warmed by a greater orb of gold,
Firmly fixed within its light.
Adorned by a much lesser orb, of gleaming white,
The greater, set to rule the day,
The lesser, set to rule the night.
There were waters below and waters above,
A heavenly expanse between,
There was dry land, with vegetation, swarms of living creatures,
And monsters of the sea…
And last, but, in no way least,
There was Adam and there was Eve.
Mythology, Theology, or perhaps simply a matter of fact…
Life from nothing,
What else could it be, but a divine act?
Evolution or intelligent design there are only two choices,
One can make…
We’re either here by way of random selection,
Or we’re here, by way of God’s Grace!
